So you may be asking what is simply made canvases? who are they? why should I buy from them? Here are a few answers… we are a small Winnipeg business focusing on supplying Manitobans with canvas prints, oil paintings and the option to have a canvas-made to be ready to hang.

A Bit About Us

Simply made canvases was established in 2020 the worst year in our known history(at least in my opinion).and with all that free time in isolation I decided to pursue my passion in life… you guess it, Art! With many years of carpentry experience and tools lying around I began to reach out to local artist and artist around the world knew and offered to frame their canvases. as time went on I was able to establish many many art suppliers and wholesalers. Now our goal is to hopefully become one of Canada’s best oil painting and canvas print suppliers.

How long does it take to get my canvas

Canvas orders normally take 2-4 weeks when things are normal however we suggest budgeting time for anywhere between 3-6 weeks just in case of covid shut down, or anything unexpected.

OK I Want to buy this how do I move forward

So typically we write up all the details for you to view so that we can confirm that everything is correct and send it to by email. As a side note we don’t spam, we don’t email you except to tell you your canvas is ready. I know I hate getting spam emails !!  so with that in consideration I don’t want you to experience that! we use your email to keep everything organized within our system and that’s it. once you receive your canvas after 60 days the contracts are moved to the trash bin

WHATS NEXT AFTER CONFIRMING THE DETAILS

Now that we have confirmed the size, design , and making it ready to hang or not now we get a deposit. I now it’s scary but we have to do it, and here’s why.

In previous sales I have had people literally steal a canvas, just popped it in the car and began to leave. I looked at him and asked if he could pay for the canvas and you know what he did he looked directly at me and said “What are you gonna do about it”. and he was right!! what was I gonna do about it?…
Then I started having people say they will buy the canvas, so of course I got them, and put up the upfront capital to finish them. when I messaged them to come pick up their framed canvas and not show up! 

now I know what your saying so what! sell it to someone else well that would be great except it’s a custom canvas of their family, and no one wants that . So obviously this had to come to an end. I needed a way to filter out the customers who weren’t serious buyers!! So that’s why we have a deposit now before you get your canvas.

We’re not about making canvas, although we do that well,almost better than almost anybody else! Most of the time. Or that we take time and consideration when assembling your canvas to be hung by your entryway in your home. What simply made canvases is really about at their core value, is sharing beauty in the world. We believe that quality is our art and it will show itself for yeas to come.
